After another accomplished season of the IPL, the focus of all players will shift to their national duties. All key players will reunite for the busy international calendar lined up ahead. Several exciting bilateral series are on the cards, as Team India are set to take on multiple opponents, both at home and overseas. The team will face a plethora of challenges, but overall, a thrilling 2025 is expected.

India tour of England 2025
After a whitewash by the Kiwis on home soil, followed by a disappointing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, Team India will play their first Test series in June 2025—against England. The Men in Blue are doing exceptionally well in white-ball cricket, but their red-ball game is under scrutiny, as the players have performed below their potential in recent matches.

The tour of England is a golden opportunity for India to bounce back and regain their form in the longest format. Moreover, with the onset of this series, a fresh World Test Championship cycle will also begin. So, if they aim to feature in the 2027 WTC Final, India must start on a strong note.

India tour of Bangladesh
The last time India played against Bangladesh in a bilateral series, they completely outplayed the visitors — and that too, across all formats. This year, when they visit Bangladesh for a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series, it is expected that they continue their dominant show there as well.

Moreover, this series will hold great significance, as it will help Gautam Gambhir and Co. in shaping their template for the 2026 T20 World Cup.

A total of 19 matches will be played in group format, and just like in previous years, India will hopefully clinch another title in 2025.

West Indies tour of India
When West Indies visit India for a two-match Test series, a lot will be on the line as the Men in Blue will be looking to gain maximum advantage of the home conditions. They will be eyeing crucial points, as winning those will take them an inch closer to their target of reaching the 2027 WTC Final.
