For Australia, there is no doubt in Travis Head’s heading the list. The southpaw has clubbed 688 runs in 25 innings at a strike rate of nearly 130. Incredibly, even Mitchell Marsh has accumulated his 517 powerplay runs at a strike rate of over 106.

Opening partnerships are as important as individual performance in ODIs since the beginning of 2023. Among the openers, Australia have a better strike rate of 119.72 while India have a better average of 67.24.
