Let’s take a look at the top three performances from Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals game.
Shubman Gill’s 84 boosts Titans to 171 in 20 overs
Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill carried his team’s innings singlehandedly in this game. He played his shots from the start of the innings only. He slogged sweep a gigantic six off spinner Axar Patel. He pummeled some boundaries off pacers and completed his 11th IPL fifty in just 32 deliveries. After completing the milestone, he launched an attack on opponent bowlers. He clobbered two back-to-back boundaries off pacer Khaleel Ahmed. He hammered spinner Yadav for one six and a boundary to collect 11 runs in his over and smashed two huge sixes off Patel in the next over.
Although he looked all set to complete his first IPL century, he lost his wicket off Ahmed as Patel took his catch at deep mid-wicket. Ahmed dismissed Gill only once before this face-off in IPL in three games. Gill’s phenomenal knock of 84 runs off 46 deliveries was studded with six fours and four monumental sixes.

Lockie Ferguson (4/28) halts Delhi Capitals' chase

He returned for another spell in the 15th over and dismissed the premier batter of Capitals, Pant, on the first ball of the over. Pant was on 43 off 29 deliveries and could have taken the match away from Titans, though with his wicket Ferguson put his side in the match again. He cleaned up in-form batter Axar Patel in the same over to leave Capitals six down. Ferguson recorded sensational bowling figures of 28 for four which turned the match on its head.
