4- Ravichandran Ashwin completed 50 wickets in this calendar year of 2021. He has bagged 50 wickets in a calendar year four times now, which is the record for any Indian bower. He surpassed Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Sing, who bagged 50 wickets in a calendar year thrice.

414- William Somerville bowled 414 balls in this test series without taking any wicket, which is the record for any bowler. The previous record-holder was former Aussie cricketer Alan Hurst, who bowled 312 balls in a Test series in India in 1979-80 without getting any wicket.
225/14 – Azaj Patel bagged 14 wickets in this test match at Mumbai by conceding 225 runs. These are the best test match bowling figures for any visiting player in Asia. The previous best was 106/13 recorded by Ian Botham against India at Mumbai in 1980.

The previous lowest Test total against India was 79 registered by South Africa at Nagpur in 2015. 62 is also the lowest total scored in India for any team in Test cricket. 2- India set a 540-run target for New Zealand today at Mumbai, which is the third-highest target set by the Indian team in Test cricket, after 617 against New Zealand in 2009 at Wellington and 550 against Sri Lanka at Galle in 2017.
5- New Zealand pacers couldn’t take a single wicket in this test match against India. It is the fifth time Kiwi pacers couldn’t take a single wicket in a Test match.
3- Mayank Agarwal played a phenomenal knock of 150 runs against New Zealand, which is the third-highest individual score in the World Test Championship 2021-23 after 180* by Joe Root against India at Lord’s and 155* by Dhananjaya de Silva against West Indies in Galle.
