Will Young and Rachin Ravindra take NZ home after initial Bumrah burst
India pacers led by Jasprit Bumrah gave the team a perfect start by removing Kiwi skipper Tom Latham in the very first over. He, along with Mohammed Siraj, piled up pressure on both Devon Conway and Will Young, but the Kiwi duo did well to negate it with a 35-run stand.
While Bumrah produced a peach to dismiss Conway, the first innings’ centurion, Rachin Ravindra, pulled out a wide range of strokes from his repertoire and made sure New Zealand went past the line in his unbeaten 75-run stand with Will Young, who made a confident 48.
