India produced another commanding show and defeated Bangladesh by 86 runs in the second T20I in New Delhi. The comprehensive victory helped India take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Young Nitish Kumar Reddy's all-round heroics helped India register their biggest T20I win over Bangladesh.

Rising star Nitish Kumar Reddy showcased his power-hitting abilities in his second international match with his blazing knock of 74 runs. He smashed two consecutive mighty sixes off leg-spinner Rishad Hossain during his stunning innings. The all-rounder was at his imperial best as he smacked a quick-fire fifty and claimed two wickets, announcing his arrival on the international stage in style. Reddy dazzled everyone not only with his bat but also with his bowling abilities. In the international cricket scene, he has quickly garnered a reputation as a rising star to watch.



Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh thrash Bangladesh bowlers, propels India to 221/9

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and chose to bowl first. A sensational 108-run partnership off 48 balls between Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh was the highlight of India's innings in the second T20I in Delhi. They led the way as a belligerent India put up 221/9. After India lost three wickets in the powerplay of Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, and Suryakumar Yadav, Rinku and Nitish joined hands to give the Bangladesh bowlers a nightmare. Their record-breaking stand helped India recover from a shaky start and take control of the game. Nitish raced to his half-century in 27 balls before getting dismissed for 34-ball 74, while Rinku slammed 53 off 29 balls. 


Bangladesh crumbled against the young India bowling attack

Chasing a stiff 222, Bangladesh lost seven wickets inside 100 runs. Varun Chakaravarthy picked two, while Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag, and Mayank Yadav scalped a wicket each. Nitish Kumar Reddy also joined the wicket later in the 18th over, reducing Bangladesh to 121/8. Reddy picked up two wickets in a combined bowling display as India kept Bangladesh to 135/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Meanwhile, star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya showcased his athletic brilliance with a jaw-dropping catch to dismiss Bangladesh's Rishad Hossain.
