On Sunday, The Super 12 round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 saw Bangladesh squaring off against Sri Lanka in the first game of Group 2. India later played Pakistan in the second game at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

23 - Mushfiqur took the highest number of innings (23) before scoring a fifty in T20 World Cup. Earlier, Mohammad Hafiz and Mahmudullah Riyad had this record on their name, as they scored their first fifty in T20 World Cup after playing 20 innings.
1- Mohammad Naim's 477 runs in 2021 are now the highest by a Bangladesh player in T20Is of a year. The previous record-holder was Sabbir Rahman, who scored 463 runs in 2016 for Bangladesh.
1 - Charith Asalanka scored a match-winning unbeaten knock of 80 runs against Bangladesh today, which is his highest score in T20 cricket.
1 - This was the maiden fifty of Charith Asalanka in T20I cricket.

625 - Pakistan team which played against India have a combined experience of 625 matches. It makes them the most experienced team ever to take the field in a T20I.

1 - This partnership between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan is now the highest stand against India for any wicket in T20Is. The previous highest was 133 runs between Warner and Watson (opening wicket) at Colombo in 2012.
1 - Virat Kohli became the first Indian captain to lose against Pakistan in World Cups.
