The Super 12 round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 commenced on Saturday with Australia squaring off against South Africa in the first game of this phase. England later played West Indies in the second game of this round on Saturday.

2/4 - English leggie Adil Rashid scalped four wickets conceding only two runs. This is the best bowling figure by any English bowler in T20 World Cup history. The previous record-holder was Chris Jordan who registered 28/4 figures at Delhi in 2016.

1 - English leggie Adil Rashid scalped four wickets conceding only two runs. These are the fewest runs conceded while taking four or more wickets in a Men’s T20 World Cup innings. The previous record-holder was former Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath, who bagged 5 wickets, while conceding only 3 runs against New Zealand in T20 World Cup.
1 - West Indies scored only 55 runs against England, which is their lowest total in T20 World Cup. West Indies’ lowest total in T20 World Cup before this game was 101 against Sri Lanka in 2009.
2 - West Indies registered their second-lowest total in T20I cricket. The lowest total scored by West Indies in T20I cricket is 45 against England at Basseterre in 2019.

3 - West Indies’ tally of 55 runs is the third-lowest total in T20 World Cup. The Netherlands registered the two lowest totals in T20 World Cups - 39 against Sri Lanka in 2014 and 44 against Sri Lanka on Friday.
3 - West Indies have been bowled out thrice below 100 in T20Is. All these totals have been recorded in the last three T20I games of West Indies against England- 45 and 71 in Basseterre and 55 in Dubai.
3 - England have bowled out West Indies for under-100 three times in T20I cricket. Only New Zealand have bowled out any particular side below 100 in T20I cricket on more occasions - Bangladesh (Four times).
10 - Most single-digit dismissals for a team in a Men’s T20 WC match among top-10 Test nations occurred on Saturday in the match between West Indies and England.
100 – Chris Gayle completed 100 catches in the T20I format, after taking the catch of Jason Roy.
3 - Tabraiz Shamsi became the third South African bowler to pick 50 wickets in Men's T20Is by taking the wicket of Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell on Saturday. Only Dale Steyn (64) and Imran Tahir (63) have took more wickets than Shamsi in T20I cricket for the Proteas.
1 - Tabraiz Shamsi has now bagged 29 wickets this year, which is the most number of wickets for any spinner in one year. He surpassed Shadab Khan and Sandip Lamicchane who bagged 28 wickets each in 2021 and 2019 respectively.
